Pará is one of a states of Brazil, located in the northern a share of the united states. Neighboring states come (from either northerly clockwise) Amapá, Maranhão, Tocantins, Mato Grosso, Amazonas and Roraima. In the north it too borders Guyana and Suriname (including the territorial dominion known as Para).
